For local pick-up and delivery our bicycles are fully assembled with care and attention to detail. Our aim is to make it unnecessary for you to return for “free adjustments”. However, despite our best efforts, sometimes that is necessary and those adjustments will indeed be free and completed as quickly as possible.
Please note that we cannot ship pre-assembled bicycles outside our ‘Toronto local boundaries’ as these deliveries are handled by major courier companies who cannot be held responsible for unboxed items, if they accept them at all.
For that reason we usually do not ship previously assembled bicycles (floor models for instance). Shipping and therefore re-boxing a floor model will incur an additional $150 fee.
We strongly recommend that unassembled bikes are assembled by a professional bicycle mechanic. For your safety and the good of the bicycle, we suggest that we ship to a reputable local bike shop of your choice (with their authorization) for assembly.
Test rides for local purchases are available prior to purchasing a bicycle and we recommend doing so if you’re not 100% sure about a bike fitting you or providing the sort of ride that you’re after.
A valid credit card and photo ID will be required to take a bike out.
Not all bikes in our inventory are assembled. Please contact us to confirm availability. We may be able to assemble a bike for a test-ride and potential sale fairly quickly (around 24 hours depending on workload).
Please note that test rides may not be available in inclement weather. We appreciate your understanding.
